Business Service Terms

Baseline terms for business IT asset recovery, data sanitization and recycling engagements with Reclaim Tech LLC.

Last updated: February 2026

1. Scope

These terms provide a baseline for business engagements. Specific projects may be governed by a separate written agreement, statement of work or service schedule, which controls where it conflicts with this page.

2. Pickup and Scheduling

Pickup availability depends on equipment quantity, type, packaging and site access. The client is responsible for providing accurate access information, including dock, elevator, security and insurance requirements.

3. Chain of Custody

Equipment is documented at transfer and handled under internal procedures through processing. Data-bearing devices are separated and tracked according to project requirements.

4. Data Sanitization

Sanitization methods are selected based on media type, device condition, intended disposition and client requirements, using procedures designed around recognized media sanitization guidance including NIST SP 800-88 where applicable. Physical destruction may be provided directly or through an approved downstream service. Reclaim Tech does not claim NIST, R2, e-Stewards, NAID AAA or ISO certification.

5. Documentation

Qualifying projects may receive documentation covering asset inventory, sanitization or destruction processes completed, disposition outcomes and revenue recovery. Documentation scope is confirmed for each project.

6. Valuation and Revenue Sharing

Values are confirmed after inspection and testing. Depending on the equipment and program selected, settlement may take the form of an upfront buyback, a revenue-share arrangement following resale, or a no-cost responsible recycling path for material without recoverable value. Processing charges may apply to items with no recoverable value.

7. Client Representations

The client represents that it owns or is authorized to dispose of the equipment, that leased assets have been identified, and that any regulated or hazardous material has been disclosed prior to pickup.

8. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's confidential information and use it only as needed to perform the engagement.

9. Liability

Except as stated in a signed agreement, Reclaim Tech LLC's liability for a project is limited to the value of the services performed for that project, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

This page is provided for general information and does not constitute legal advice. Reclaim Tech LLC recommends having counsel review these terms before relying on them for a specific engagement.
