Recycling

Responsible Electronics Recycling

Recycling is the final step, not the first one. Reuse and refurbishment should generally be prioritized when appropriate before equipment is processed for materials.

Disposition hierarchy

Reuse → Refurbish → Parts Recovery → Responsible Recycling

Each device is evaluated against this order so value is captured before material recovery.

01

Reuse

Working equipment with remaining useful life is prioritized for continued use whenever appropriate.

02

Refurbish

Devices needing minor repair, cleaning or testing may be refurbished and returned to service.

03

Parts Recovery

Equipment that cannot be restored may be harvested for usable components and modules.

04

Responsible Recycling

Remaining end-of-life material is routed to vetted downstream recycling partners.

Downstream partners

Vetted Downstream Processing

Reclaim Tech may use vetted downstream recycling partners for end-of-life materials. Partner selection considers processing capability, handling practices and documentation available for the material stream.

Some damaged and non-working electronics may be accepted, although certain equipment may carry recycling or processing charges based on type, weight and handling requirements.

What we do not claim

Reclaim Tech does not claim zero-landfill operations, 100% recycled outcomes, R2 certification or e-Stewards certification. Any such claim would require independent verification, and we will only state credentials that have actually been earned.

Have equipment that has reached end of life?

Send quantities, categories and location and we will confirm what can be accepted.
